• Anyone who cannot remove form fields but still wants the form to be easier to fill in

What is EFO (input assistance)?

EFO stands for Entry Form Optimization: improving the form-filling experience so fewer people give up partway through. In Jicoo, input assistance can be set up without writing code, both for the booking form on a booking page and for routing forms.

What is this feature?

Real-time error display

Missing entries and format errors are shown on the spot as guests type or leave a field, instead of only after they press submit.

Auto half-width conversion (Japanese-language pages only)

Full-width letters, numbers, and symbols are automatically converted to half-width, so variations in email addresses and phone numbers are absorbed without asking the guest to fix them. This applies only to pages displayed in Japanese.

Auto furigana input (Japanese-language pages only)

The furigana field is filled in automatically as the guest enters their name, reducing typing while still collecting furigana in a form you can import into a roster or CRM. This applies only to pages displayed in Japanese.

Save entries in progress

What the guest has entered is temporarily saved and restored when they come back, so anyone who steps away to check their schedule or a document does not have to start over.

Leave prevention

A confirmation dialog is shown when a guest who has started filling in the form tries to leave the page, preventing entries from being lost by closing the tab or navigating away.

Configurable per form

Input assistance is toggled per form from the edit screen. Booking pages and forms can be configured separately, so you can start with the form that receives the most inquiries and expand from there.

How to use

For booking pages, open "Edit booking page > Booking form"; for forms, open "Edit form > Fields", and set up input assistance there. Leave prevention is configured from the page settings of the booking page editor and from the design settings of a form.
