Leave prevention is now available on booking pages and routing forms
Main Changes
Leave prevention is now available on booking pages and routing forms. When a guest tries to leave the page after they have started entering information, a confirmation dialog is shown, which helps prevent guests from leaving and losing what they have entered.
What's Changed
- Added a "Leave prevention" setting to the Page settings of the booking page editor and to the design settings of routing forms. Available on the Business plan or above of the current pricing plans.
- The setting is disabled by default. Turn it on in the editor if you want to use it.
- The same setting is also available when creating meeting polls and one-off meetings.
- When the setting is enabled, a confirmation dialog such as "Stop booking?" is shown if a guest uses browser back or in-page navigation after they have selected a date and time or started filling in fields.
- Reloading the page or closing the tab or window shows the browser's standard confirmation instead.
- No confirmation dialog is shown for normal operations that complete the flow, such as confirming a booking or submitting a form.
- Widgets embedded on external sites are not covered by this setting.
